Several systems exist on the market which measure physiological data of individuals or teams. These systems provide large amounts of data. However, the interpretation of these amounts of data is often an issue. BioRICS has developed a simple app which runs on the smartphone that calculates useful parameters out of the measured physical variables.
How does it work?
Put on a heart rate belt* and carry your smartphone with you in a pouch on your back** when training starts. The signals of heart rate are sent to the smartphone (which is connected to the belt). The smartphone runs the app which processes the information of heart rate, acceleration, position, etc.
After the training, feedback is given on your smartphone regarding your running pattern, heart rate zones, training intensity, etc.
Feedback on running pattern appeared to be very useful for people who just started to run, as a tool for injury prevention or for people who take up running again after recovery. This tool can be made available for individuals as well as for teams.

During a 3 year co-operation, BioRICS has monitored the physical condition and mental status of the players of AC Milan in close cooperation with the trainers, coaches and the Milan Lab. This experience has led to further refinement of the BioRICS methodology and software.
A BioRICS algorithm runs in the shirt of the revolutionary “miCoach Elite system” from Adidas which measures heart rate parameters for professional soccer teams.
